Rejuvenation and Reflection
Living Koko brings a little piece of Samoa and the Pacific Islands to you everyday through our luscious cacao products, but there’s nothing quite like being there yourself.
So, why not join Living Koko in Samoa in August 2024?!
Our exclusive six-day Samoa Koko Tour is perfect for travellers looking for a unique destination and experience, one that is centred around a deep connection and respect for nature, community, culture, adventure and rejuvenation.
Bask in the beauty of Samoa, see first-hand where our award-winning organic and ethically sourced cacao is grown and harvested, and learn how indigenous cultivation practices continue today to optimise cacao quality and protect the local land, waters and ecosystem.
Experience traditional island life with the people who cultivate our cacao and their communities, and appreciate the deep connection this ancient plant medicine has with Samoan and Pasifika life and culture.
Explore the beautifully untouched and unapologetically rugged lands and waters of Samoa, slow down, and enjoy moments of quiet reflection while connecting with nature.
With a maximum of 10 people on tour, you’ll enjoy an enriching and personal experience like no other, which goes beyond your typical tropical Pacific Island holiday. If you’re looking for an adventure in pristine surrounds, genuine connection with Pasifika culture, a new appreciation for sustainable food systems and ecology, and true rejuvenation of your soul – join Living Koko on this incredible tour.

“Honestly, the land of Samoa itself is a massive highlight, just the water, the air quality and just really going back to simple island life was so breathtaking. The mental and emotional de-load and de-stress that came from just being on that land was priceless.”
– Aleesha Keti, 2023 Samoa Koko Tour participant.
Samoa Koko Tour – Fanua Ma Le Sami: Land & Sea 5 – 10 August, 2024
Itinerary overview
Our tour commences by walking gently on the fanua (lands) of the island of Upolu. We’ll learn about indigenous cultivation of cacao and vanilla plantations, cook using traditional hot rock methods (umu) and engage fully with traditional island life.
Join us in our cacao, connection and meditation evening on the fanua with your fellow travellers and local community members.
We’ll then journey to the island of Savaii, and engage with the stories of our ancestors and our lands. You’ll visit locations connected to our creation stories, and gain a greater understanding and appreciation of Samoa’s cacao history and future with a tour of the Savaii Koko plantation. Later, we will fully embrace the stillness of Samoa as we explore the sami (oceans) with a tour of the underwater world.
Due to the nature of the tour activities and remote location of the destination, the Samoa Koko Tour – Fanua Ma Le Sami: Land and Sea is best suited for people aged 16 years and over who have a reasonable level of physical fitness and mobility.
“This tour is made for people who want to experience an untouched space.
Samoa is unapologetically rugged, unapologetically unrefined and so grounding and renewing. If you have a sense of adventure, you’re wanting to learn about yourself and want to connect with land and culture – you will gain so much from joining us on our 2024 Samoa Koko Tour.”
